Know your face shape
We all have different faces, however they can be placed into 7 categories of 'face shape' which will assist you with choosing the perfect hairstyle.
Once you've identified your face shape you can match it with a picture. Choosing a model who has a similar face shape will result in a greater outcome.
The ideal shape created is roughly one of an egg shape from the chin to the tip of your hair. Based on your face shape you can then cut and style the hair to create that perfect oval illusion, this is why certain hairstyles look great on some and shocking on others.
Ultimately your hairdresser can adjust the hairstyle to suit your face shape but help yourself out and choose one that is similar to your own.
